Notice to all Event Riders Participating in CCI or CIC Events The FEI has mandated that all horses and riders competing in CCI, CIC or CH competitions be annually registered with them. This registration will allow the FEI to monitor the sport and provide fast and reliable information on the qualification of competitors. This is in addition to acquiring a passport or horse recording. The FEI cost of registration will be covered by USA Equestrian for 2003. After 2003 there will be a charge for this registration. Please refer to the chart below for the requirements to compete at the various levels: CIC*, CIC**, and CCI* Riders need: FEI Rider Registration
Horses need: FEI Horse Registration
CIC***, CCI**, CCI***, CCI**** Riders need: FEI Rider Registration
Horses need: FEI Horse Registration
The form to register can be found on USA Equestrian’s website, USEA’s website, or by calling 859-225-2027. The form must be completed and returned to USA Equestrian no later than 2 weeks prior to the first day of Dressage of the competition. The horse and rider registration number can be found on eventing.horsesport.org under "View Lists"(lower left-hand corner) or by calling USA Equestrian at (859) 225-2027 or (908) 234-0848.
