Morven Park to Host
Recognized Sport Horse Breed and Dressage Shows in July
The International Equestrian Center at historic Morven Park in Leesburg will host the Morven Park Sport Horse Breed Show on Thursday, July 25th, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the Swiss-American Indoor Arena. The event, a showcase for international sport horse breeding, will draw top young sport horses from the east coast. The competition is recognized by the USA Equestrian, National Equestrian Federation of the United States (USAE), and is part of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) East Coast Breeder Series.
Then on Saturday, July 27th and Sunday, July 28th, top dressage competitors from around the region will compete in the Morven Park Summer Dressage Classic at the Morven Park International Equestrian Center. The exciting Musical Freestyle competition will be held on Saturday, July 27th. "Our dressage shows are always very competitive and the public is invited to attend. There is no admission charge for either the Sport Horse Breed Show or the Summer Dressage Classic," said Marcia Keene, Director of Equestrian Events at Morven Park.
