The Westmoreland Davis Memorial Foundation, Inc.

The Westmoreland Davis Memorial Foundation, Inc. protects, preserves, and promotes the historic and cultural resources of Morven Park, home of Westmoreland Davis, 55th Governor of Virginia, innovative agriculturalist, dedicated educator, and equestrian enthusiast, in accordance with the wishes of Mrs. Marguerite Davis.

• To achieve these goals and to ensure its reputation as a place of cultural and historical significance, the Foundation shall:

• Care for the historic house and gardens, the artifact collections, and the property through responsible stewardship;

• Educate the public through interpretive tours, exhibits, events, and publications;

• Allocate funding for scholarships to assist students with educational costs;

• Provide assistance for community and civic organizations that meet criteria which help the Foundation to promote
  the legacy of Governor and Mrs. Davis;

• Enhance the quality of community life through an increased awareness of and appreciation for the Davis’ contribution
  to Loudoun’s and Virginia’s historic past and agrarian and equestrian heritage.
