About Us

Morven Park, located in Leesburg, Virginia, is a 1,000-acre historic estate and equestrian center. Once the home of Westmoreland Davis, governor of Virginia from 1918-1922 and Thomas Swann, Jr., Governor of Maryland during the Civil War, Morven Park attracts 200,000 visitors each year, enticed by the site’s exquisite scenery, formal gardens, sports fields, museum collections, hiking and riding trails, and of course, the world-renowned Morven Park International Equestrian Center.

We invite the public to attend events in every season, including equestrian competitions, festivals, and hands-on learning programs. As a nonprofit organization, Morven Park relies on donations to keep its historic gates open to the public.
