Late in 2011, the organization’s Board of Trustees
announced plans for the future use of every corner
of the park’s 1,200 acres. That includes every barn,
every arena and office, replacing the well-loved and
well-used facilities within the equestrian complex.
We need your help to ensure that Morven Park’s preeminence, not only in the region but in the
world, is maintained well into the future. That immense task begins with the relocation of the
outdoor riding arenas. The construction of three new arenas for dressage, show jumping, horse trials, therapeutic riding, and
other disciplines will allow us to:
Provide a top-quality venue for equestrians that is more competitor-, spectator-, and sponsor-friendly.
Offer facilities in which riders can achieve their
peak performance.
Begin the process of centralizing the equestrian
facilities within a controlled
traffic area to
improve safety and ease of access.
Provide a more expansive, elevated viewpoint
for event spectators.
Improve show efficiencies and reduce
disruptions in event schedules.
