Benefit Silent Auction

Recently, a fundraising effort has been underway to renovate and improve the facilities at the Morven Park International Equestrian Center. 
The projects targeted for 2010 and 2011 are:

  • Electric plugs near each stall in all of the barns to be used for fans in hot weather COMPLETED!!
  • Ventilation and footing improvements to the Swiss American Indoor Arena;
  • New footing for the Davis Arena (which currently ponds deeply after rain)
  • Morven Park has held four dressage fund raising schooling shows so far in 2010 and have raised over $9,100 towards “The Plug” project.  We will also host a silent auction to be held in conjunction with the EEMI Pas de Deux Challenge in July 2010.  We are requesting donations to be auctioned.  Examples of items donated would include:

Please consider a donation for an item or two such as that described above, (or something else not on this list!) to be included in the auction.  Or if you have something you’d like to donate, (a “duplicate” gift?... something the wrong size?...the wrong color?...)  Donors are provided with an acknowledgement letter for their donation toward the Morven Park Equestrian Center, a non-profit/501(c)3 organization.

New in 2010, Silent Auction added to the Canaan Ranch Pas de Deux!

Items will range in price and will be displayed next to the VIP Tent throughout the day. All proceeds will benefit the Morven Park Equestrian Center Programs and Services. Don't Miss It!

**The Morven Park Equestrian Center Staff is currently accepting donations for items and services to be auctioned on July 31, 2010. For more information and a tax-deductible receipt, please contact the Morven Park Equestrian Center Office at 703-777-2890.

The Morven Park Equestrian Center will host a series of schooling shows and clinics throughout 2010 to enhance the skills of both horse and rider. With participation in 2 out of 3 schooling shows, a rider will qualify for the Championship Series of Classes held April 17th.
