Morven Park International Equestrian Center To Host
Spring Horse Trials, March 27th and 28th, 2010

On March 27thth and 28th, Morven Park Equestrian Center will host the 2010 Spring Horse Trials. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring the family and enjoy two full days of spectacular equestrian events. Saturday begins at 8:00 a.m. with dressage in three rings followed by show jumping. Sunday kicks off with the thrill of cross-country at 8:00 a.m.

Horse Trials are also known as eventing, which is the triathlon of horse sports and is the most exacting, exciting and fulfilling of all the equestrian sports. It is one of the fastest growing equestrian pursuits in the world – and one in which riders of all ages and abilities can compete.

The ultimate challenge for horse and rider, eventing tests their partnership and athletic prowess in three diverse and demanding disciplines:

· The grace and harmony of dressage
· The rigors and thrills of cross-country
· The power and pageantry of Show jumping

“The Morven Park Horse Trials is an incredible spectator sport,” says Margaret Good, Morven Park Horse Trials Organizer. “It’s a fun family event where you can witness the excitement of cross-country, the beauty of dressage and the thrill of show jumping. These events require extraordinary athletes,” adds Good. Watching the riders perform with determination and precision in their pursuit of excellence is truly a sight to behold.”
