Dairy
Wagon
Milk
delivery wagons were always neat, clean, well painted and gave
an impression of freshness. Frequently the milkman would carry
his racks of bottles across four or five backyards, delivering
as he went. When he appeared between two houses to get another
load of milk, there would be his horse and wagon. The horse
learned the route and knew when to advance on his own.
Mrs. Winmill purchased the dairy wagon while visiting her granddaughter
in Texas.
