Loudoun Country Day School Visits Morven Park Shown here are members of Loudoun Country Day School's Kindergarten class enjoying the touch box and tree tour. The Tree Identification Program pictured here is geared toward many different grade levels. This tour can also be given to grades 1st - 6th as part of a science program.
All of Morven Park's programs can also be adapted for homeschool groups and scout programs. Always call ahead to make a reservation. The program is offered late-April through mid-October.
Friday, July 14, the summer camp from Loudoun Country Day School
visited Morven Park. About 18 children were treated to an introduction to
the sport of Foxhunting by Morven Park Director and avid foxchaser, Will O'Keefe.
Following a tour of the Museum of
Hounds and Hunting, the children actually got to meet some of the horses and
hounds from the Loudoun Hunt West.
