Our K-12 Programs
K-12 programs are the main focus at the Center for Civic Impact. All programs build critical civic skills like information analysis, creative problem solving, and effective communication. Programs are available in elementary school, middle school, and high school, with original curriculum designed to meet the needs and abilities of students at each level. All lesson plans are aligned with Virginia SOLs and national standards for civics education. Programs are run at Morven Park and in the classroom. These programs focus on building civic skills and the characteristics of engaged citizenship.
Leadership programs are also available for youth to sign up for outside of class time. These opportunities train and challenge young leaders to make an impact on challenging issues in their community, country, and the world.
