The Loudoun Therapeutic Riding Foundation

The Loudoun Therapeutic Riding Foundation was formed in 1974 to foster and encourage the development and operation of horseback riding and other related activities for therapeutic purposes for individuals with disabilities, including those who have mental retardation, physical impairments, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, speech or hearing impairments, visual impairments and multiple-disabilities.

LTRF promotes programs to enhance the general welfare and safety of individuals with disabilities and initiates and conducts other such programs and activities as appropriate as they are related to these objectives.
