  Family Field Day is an event to bring the community together and celebrat
 e the opening of the Athletic Field Complex. The event will feature field 
 day games\, sports demos\, appearances from local professional teams\, and
  a central area for visitors to learn more about local sports leagues and 
 clubs.  Participants of all ages will have a chance to play various games 
 and skills challenges to win ribbons and tokens to exchange for prizes.\n
 \nBBQ lunch and snacks will be available for purchase throughout the after
 noon.\n\nPro appearances and demonstrations will run throughout the aftern
 oon concurrent with games\, races\, mini tournaments and skills challenges
 .\n\nEvent fee is $5\; kids under 4 years old free. \nDue to the physical 
 nature of the event\, participants must register and sign a liability rele
 ase waiver either online prior to the event or on-site.
