The Center for Civic Impact’s youth leadership opportunities provide you with the support you need to take direct action to address the issues you are passionate about. We believe that you have the power to change the world around you and we will show you how to do it. What will your impact be?
Youth Leadership Retreat (Rising 7th and 8th graders)

Want to learn how YOU can make a difference? Apply to the Morven Park Center for Civic Impact Youth Leadership Retreat to develop your leadership skills and lead real change within your community. The 2022 Summer Youth Leadership Retreat Application Period Has Ended.
Dates: July 13-15 (held at Cascades Library in Sterling) and July 20-22 (held at Morven Park in Leesburg). You can choose which session you would like to attend when you complete the application.

Calling all high school students ready to make their impact! Apply to attend the Morven Park Center for Civic Impact Youth Leadership Institute. Learn how to turn your ideas into action and create a legacy of leadership. The 2021 application process has closed; please check this page next Spring to apply for the next Youth Leadership Institute.

Loudoun County Parks and Recreation/MPCCI field trip to Richmond

The Youth Leadership Trip to Richmond brings Loudoun County students to their state capitol to learn about leadership and the legislative process. The trip includes a visit to the State Capital as well as an informational session at Virginia Commonwealth University to discuss community involvement after high school graduation. This experience provides students with a meaningful understanding of their state government, what it means to be an active citizen of Virginia, and how they can help shape the future of our state. Space is limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis.
