Backstairs at Morven Park
There’s more to a mansion than what you see upstairs.
Step behind the scenes and discover the people whose work kept Morven Park’s Davis Mansion running. Backstairs at Morven Park offers a rare glimpse into the rooms, routines, and stories of the cooks, maids, butlers, chauffeurs, and other staff who worked behind the scenes.
For the first time, guests will have the opportunity to step inside one of the mansion’s restored servant bedrooms and explore a side of Morven Park rarely seen by visitors. Along the way, learn about the people who lived and worked in the mansion and the essential roles they played in daily life.
With just 12 guests per tour, this intimate experience offers plenty of opportunities for questions, conversation, and a closer look at the mansion’s hidden history.
Recommended for ages 12 and up.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time to walk from the main parking lot to the Davis Mansion Visitor Center.
