Congratulations to the first-ever US Equestrian Open Eventing Champion, Boyd Martin and Miks Master C!
Congratulations to four-time Olympian Boyd Martin and Miks Master C for delivering a standout performance to capture a historic win in the first US Equestrian Open.
“It’s an incredible feeling to win here,” said Martin. “This event has been so well organized, and Morven Park is one of the best venues in the world. For years, we’ve all seen the potential here. Morven Park has beautiful cross-country tracks, great rings, and a world-class facility. The US Equestrian Open has brought in amazing prize money and attracted the country’s best horses and riders and to win this inaugural event is a huge honor.”

As one of five venues in the United States to hold a CCI4*-L competition, we invite spectators to enjoy the exciting discipline of eventing. Eventing features three different equestrian disciplines: dressage, show jumping, and cross-country. Although the competition is divided into a number of skill levels, one of the remarkable things about the sport is that men and women of all ages compete head-to-head. Spend a day, or the weekend, at Morven Park watching some of the best national and international-level athletes (Olympians!) compete in one of the world's most beautiful venues.
The US Equestrian Open brings together the best athletes and horses in eventing, dressage, and jumping for world-class competition, substantial prize money, and global recognition. The US Equestrian Open of Eventing comprises 19 qualifying events across the country, culminating in a prestigious final at Morven Park International in Leesburg, Virginia. The US Equestrian Open of Eventing Series will award $50,000 in prize money to the three-highest placed combinations following the conclusion of the qualifying period. $200,000 in prize money will be distributed at the US Equestrian Open of Eventing Final in 2025.
