Join us for the first trail ride of the season and experience Morven Park from its best vantage point: from the back of a horse.
This is a great opportunity to discover the historic grounds as you ride through this breathtakingly beautiful property. Wildlife is abundant here at the Park - deer, fox, and wild turkey are familiar sights as the trails meander through woods and pasture. Morven Park offers horse owners an unmatched experience to bring their horses here and ride across some of the most beautiful land in Northern Virginia.
The ride is approximately 6.5 miles at a leisurely walk. Current coggins and 2018 Hold Harmless is required. Download the Hold Harmless form here: http://www.morvenpark.org/programs/equestrian/
For this trail ride, we will be taking out two groups, with the first departing at 10:00 a.m. and the second departing at 10:30 a.m.
We suggest arriving 20-30 minutes before your scheduled departure to get checked in and tacked up. **Park and meet in the gravel lot in front of Barn 3.**
